A Little Cheer

Shop Rite had a special on roses -- $3.99 a dozen. And I had been sick; I needed a little cheer. So these yellow beauties came home with me, and of course I had to photograph them.

Fresh flowers, milk glass vase, green tole tray and Florabella actions. A little cheer. :) Happy Wednesday, dear bloggers!

There is another yellow rose image on my blog Simple Things today. Hey, I shot a ton of them so I had to use some of them, right? ;)

Vintage Roses

I bought two small climbing roses at the supermarket the other day. Great sale -- $3.99 each. I haven't gotten around to planting them yet; they'll go in pots on the deck. But I did manage to take a few macros. ;)

And play around with some textures. Happy Saturday, dear bloggers!

Dream Deep

"Reach high,  for stars lie hidden in your soul.  Dream deep,  for every dream precedes the goal."

Tired

Do you ever feel as though you have absolutely nothing to say?  It's 7:30 pm Sunday evening as I write this, and I am so tired.  Hopefully by the time this post is published, I'll have a good night's sleep under my belt, and the world will look a little brighter.  :)

Wishing you all a happy Monday!

Don't Look Outside

Another day of rainy/snowy/crappy weather, another photo to help me hold on till spring.  Can you tell I'm hating winter this year?  ;)

Sweet Pink

Yes, I've been playing with textures again.  The roses are from my daughter, for Valentine's Day.  Isn't that sweet?  :)
