Courage

"Courage is not afraid to weep, and she is not afraid to pray, even when she is not sure who she is praying to."

Enough

"To do the useful thing, to say the courageous thing, to contemplate the beautiful thing; that is enough for one man's life."

Happy Flower

I'm really loving these lisianthus lately.  They do look like roses, don't they?  I got these at the supermarket, and they have lasted over a week.  You gotta love a flower that's so willing to stick around.  :)

We're supposed to have nice weather this weekend, so maybe I'll get a chance to shoot outside.  Have a nice weekend, dear bloggers!

Lisianthus, studied

I ran Pioneer Woman's "Lovely and Ethereal" and "Soft and Faded" actions on this macro of a lisianthus.  I am seriously in love with the part where the stem attaches to the flower.  Doesn't it look like long, graceful green fingers caressing the petals?

Or maybe I need to tweak my meds.  ;)

Happy Monday, dear bloggers.

Cherish

"No vision and you perish;
No ideal, and you're lost;
Your heart must ever cherish
Some faith at any cost.
Some hope, some dream to cling to,
Some rainbow in the sky,
Some melody to cling to,
Some service that is high."

Embrace simplicity,
Reduce selfishness,
Have few desires."

Part of the Wind

"One does not have to stand against the gale.  One yields and becomes part of the wind."

Letting Go

"You have striven so hard, and so long, to compel life.  Can't you now slowly change, and let life slowly drift into you...  let the invisible life steal into you and slowly possess you."

Faith

"Faith walks simply, childlike, between the darkness of human life and the hope of what is to come."
