left

There are just a few hips left on the wild roses. Soon, the new leaves will sprout, and another season will begin. I love the march of the seasons; but sometimes I think that winter is just a little too long and spring is just a little too short. :)

i ♥ rose hips

When I get ahold of a subject, you can't say I don't shoot it to death... lol. More rose hips, from our sunny winter day.

Oh, and it's my birthday! So I'd like some more sun, please. And some Hershey's kisses. :)

Snow Catchers

We had a few inches of very fluffy snow on Monday, and Tuesday morning was a beautiful blue and white wonderland.  There are still a few rose hips left on the wild bushes, and they caught the snow making fragile constructions of white wonder.

Dreams

"Life is full of beauty.  Notice it.  Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces.  Smell the rain, and feel the wind.  Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams."

Stand Up

"Follow the path of the unsafe, independent thinker.  Expose your ideas to the dangers of controversy.  Speak your mind and fear less the label of 'crackpot' than the stigma of conformity.  And on issues that seem important to you, stand up and be counted at any cost."
                                                                                                              Thomas J. Watson

Now Voyager

"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes."

Seasons

"Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each."

Simplicity

"Simplicity, clarity, singleness:  These are the attributes that give our lives power and vividness."
