Dashing

It's been very rainy here lately, and a host of mushrooms have sprung up.  Doesn't this one look like a dashing Cavalier, with a feathered plume in his hat?  Or have I been reading too many historical romance novels?  ;)

After the Rain

These tiny fungi popped up in our yard recently, after a heavy rain...  As always, I am fascinated by the idea of worlds within worlds -- doesn't this look like a tiny city?
