Still playing with mist and textures today. This is one from my archives. I've been shooting the beautiful colors of our sugar maple, but somehow this just feels like a more accurate representation of how I'm feeling on the inside at the moment. Does that make sense?

I too love mist photos ... great one!
And still magic.
It totally does :-)
I do know what you mean:) Some days are just more of a subdued palette. Often I think of myself as a November kind of person.
Super !
I Heart mist also...just haven't had any to shoot yet.
What a beauty you have captured.

Very much so (making sense). This is excellent, my friend.
I love the mist and shoot it too. this is lovely. Wonder who might be hiding in it. I am working on my guitar version of "Where the time goes"..I love to hear it when I look in on you. thanks.
Yes, of course that makes sense. This is a perfect, dreamy, wistful autumn image, Mary. Love the texture – such a delicate touch to bring out the mood. :)

I love this shot! The way you can see the droplets of water on the grasses, and the trees are fading into mists!!
or....snow???
Yes, we have four inches. I wanted to come and visit you under happier circumstances but....alas! ;)
This is so beautiful, Mary! I've been working on misty images, too, and I think, after seeing this, I'm trying to get too much out of it and need to be brave to go softer. Hm!
Be back, later!

Beautiful.
so pretty, it was misty this morning, I loved the safe feeling it gives me, cocooned from the harsh light so early in the day
Beautiful and dreamy ... love it!
