With the Flow

I don't really know what to say about this one.  It was taken one morning, as the sun shone through some thistles that were bending low.  I had gone out chasing the morning fog, and come up empty.  But a wildflower field at my local park beckoned, and I found this.  I guess sometimes you just have to go with the flow.

En Plein Air

The late summer fields near my home are filled with goldenrod and queen anne's lace right now.  They make a beautiful centerpiece for a Sunday dinner outside.  Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.  :)

Why Wildflowers?

This is a small wildflower garden about a mile from my home. A patch of flowers, really, surrounding a bench at the side of the road.   Question:  why do the deer leave this bee balm alone, and yet eat the heads off every single one of mine?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Happy Faces
