I love the colours with the contrasting white of the snow. Those 4 days must have felt very long. I hope you are OK.

Love your header, and of course your photos...such a early snowfall. Hard to believe, but I am earnestly thinking that it's the only one you will encounter this winter. LOL. I know.....

What a great shot! I love the colours and the snow there (though I wouldn't want to have the snow just yet ;-) )

Now that 'winter wonderland' is over, welcome back to electricity. Your photo is gorgeous!! Love the contrast. Here in WI we haven't seen snow yet, but its around the corner.

That's a long time without power and with such a little bit of snow! Very pretty photo.

Pamela -- the snow was very wet and heavy, and because the leaves were still on the trees, many limbs and branches broke and took the power lines with them.

I was waiting for a lovely photo! =]

We had 5-6 inches but our autumn is farther along than yours (most of the leaves were down - just, basically, beautiful oaks going, now.) But look at how beautiful! You have maples with snow - gorgeous!!!=] The price we pay for beauty???;)

Sorry for your plight. I had it this past summer. Just keep walking and stay close to the beauty. Love this photo.

That is so beautiful!! Not the part about no power for four days, but the traces of snow on the colourful leaves!!!!

I was thinking about you, Mary, and hoping you were safe. So glad you have power again! And now this wonderful image as a reminder that sometimes the unpredictable brings unexpected beauty. Thank you for capturing it in your unique way.

That much snow this early in the year AND losing power for r days just isn't right. But you did get a beautiful photo!

Such perfection that I thought I could reach out and touch the coldness of the snow on the Fall leaves.
We have heard from so many the heaviness of the snow...you can actually see it in your photo's..
