This is the barn that was shown in my previous post, at Natirar. The small number 24 caught my eye, and I like the flood light that seems as though it is staring right at me. :)
I just love our barns! They are, indeed so nostalgic. Tom sees them in a much more practical light - the chippy paint is lovely but he doesn't want the building to rot away. The chicken coop and old white washed beams are a vision on the inside. Someday soon, I'll get around to posting about those.
I love the processing on this one, Mary. And the light is beautiful.
On the last horse farm where we lived, there were numbers on the outbuildings. They were from long ago, when it was Winfields and Northern Dancer stood at stud.
Katy, when I was growing up I always dreamed of having a big barn of my own... lol
Kate, I wish I could remember the processing on this... I think it may have been B/W Mink from Florabela and Lux (hard) from TRA. But I'm not sure... :)

I'm being drawn more and more to old structures - the texture is beautiful!
Old barns are a treasure...
Ohhhh super cool. And the B&W processing adds the perfect drama.
It's a beautiful, pensive and wistful image, Mary. Absolutely gorgeous. I love it! xo – g
