Missing You

"Nobody sees a flower -- really -- it is so small it takes time -- we haven't time -- and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time."
                                                                                                    Georgia O'Keefe

I've missed all my bloggy friends for the past few days.  The power company replaced a meter on our house last week, which led to some electrical problems.  We had to keep all our computers, televisions and appliances unplugged because of power surges.  Our cable service also failed.  I spent all of Friday and most of Saturday with dimming lights and no internet.  No fun!  But I'm glad to be back online, and now I just have to catch up with all your posts.

Happy Monday! :)

As a new bog visitor from Kentucky, I can certainly relate to power outages and computer and Internet "withdrawals." Lovely and fresh image to start the morning.

I wondered where you'd gone. Very pretty photo, such a beautiful rich colour. And, the quote....absolutely true. As the saying goes, If you want friends, you have to be a friend.

Welcome back!

Nothing like power trouble to make one realize the depth of one's attachment (notice I avoided saying 'addiction'!) to blogging! Glad you back to full strength!

At least you weren't ill, but I hate it when the internet goes down.

As I looked at your flower I accidentally clicked on the photo so it enlarged and I followed the prompt of your quote. Whenever I look at a flower and 'see' it I cannot but feel awe for all of creation.
Thankyou for the invitation to 'see'.
