Skywatch Friday: Pure Blue

Pure blue sky, as far as the eye can see.  This shot was taken at a park near my home.  We are having some really lovely fall weather here in New Jersey.   The ground is getting dry, though, and we really need some rain.  I hesitate to say it, but we will probably get more than our fair share in November.  It all evens out.

To take a virtual tour of skies from all over the world, please visit Skywatch Friday.

Perfect shot! Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize__ blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, and our own two eyes. All is a miracle!!! Happy sky watch! Hope too see you @ corner too...

Picture Postcard Quality. Love it. Nice leaves add to the contrast of the blue skies. Happy SWF.

If you like rain, believe me I wish I could share--I'd send it all! It's raining here today as it's rained almost no-stop since April.

I love your blue-skies photograph!

Beautiful Sky and great photos all week! I especially like the fog over the pond and the leaf and thorns. We've had a similar rainless October, but we all should get some this weekend.

Beautiful! I love how BIG that park is. I've forgotten that there is such a thing as giant parks. My kids would love to run in that one!

Awesome, Mary. Great blue color in the sky, plus I like the way the shade balances the sky in the layout.

Beautiful blue sky, but that dark shadow at the bottom somehow makes me think about our world and how "darkness" often intrudes on the beauty (I know....too philosophical, but it just struck me that way!) It's a beautiful shot!
