Seasons

"Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each."

I love your photo blog, Mary.

This is beautiful and definitely screams of autumn. I do think we rush through the seasons sometimes without savoring each moment. Fall is great, but we start worrying about winter (and the holidays) instead of enjoying this moment....but her lovely autumn colors helps keep us focused.

There is no denying that the change of the seasons affects us. The coming darkness, the crisp air, it only readies us for the next season. Enjoy, while it lasts.

I'm thinking Christmas cards with this one. Have you given it a thought?

Yikes! Is that frost?

This is good advice for me. I always resist the coming of autumn with both hands & feet firmly planted against the door frame & eyes squeezed shut.

Suzanne,
I hadn't thought of that, but now that you mention it...
thanks!
