A Soft Surprise

I seem to be quite as fascinated by these Autumn Crocus as I was by some coneflowers earlier in the year.  This is probably the third or fourth photo I've posted of them.

And you will be seeing more in the near future.  Just warning you.

Happy Monday!

these are really beautiful.
i just love the way your images have such a soft quality to them, not soft in focus but such a soft, airy feel - your technique is very unique.

I love the autumn crocus, too. They are always such a lovely surprise, seeming to come up from out of no where. And the shades of lavender on each blossom are to die for!

I am equally as fascinated. I have never seen anything like it until you posted them. Keep on! I won't complain!

I don't blame you, they're so beautiful. I just found some growing next to the house yesterday when I was locked out! haha

I never realized they could display such lovely texture, let alone the color is to die for. Very beautiful shot you've captured here.
