O-bee-dient Plant

A big old fuzzy bumblebee on my Obedient Plant.  Physostegia virginiana is called Obedient Plant because the flowers are on swivels, and will stay where they are moved.

I am really enjoying your sight. (no typo there....) Have you ever pet a bumblebee? The big, sleepy ones like this one will actually sit and let you stroke them with a finger. It's kind of a wild experience that delights me to no end. Thanks for helping me start my day with something beautiful and awe inspiring.
Blessings,
Carolynn
