spring has come

Well, it seems like March went by in the blink of an eye...  if you don't count the snow storms and all the other myriad complications that find their way into daily life.  :)

I've had this little pot of cyclamen in my kitchen window since February.  They have been blooming away like mad, so they must enjoy the north light.  Some days, their perky pink blossoms were probably the only things between me and the madhouse.

I do not like winter.

But spring is here, even if it was too long in coming.  And it's still mighty cold of a morning.  But the crocus and the snowdrops are out, and the hellebores are not far behind.  And the birds are singing!  Wow, are they ever singing!  So my little pot of cyclamen can stand down.

Spring has come.

I have one crocus and it bloomed today. No birds singing yet though, just crows cawing. :) Have a lovely weekend.

What a beautiful photograph this is, Mary!
I don't like winter either, and spring is taking a very long time to arrive, but just today, I see some definite signs.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Spring has not come a moment too soon! Now for me to get out there and do some raking of all the branches that fell during this terrible winter:)
