gathered with love

When I was a little girl, our house was surrounded by fields that were filled with wildflowers.  Is that really true, or is it just a memory burnished with age?  At any rate, I remember picking bouquets for my mother every year, starting with the violets in the spring, and progressing through daisies in summer all the way to goldenrod in the autumn.  Our house was never without fresh flowers, three seasons out of four.  So here is my bouquet for you, dear bloggers, a few days shy of summer, but gathered with love. xoxo

My boys love to pick flowers fo me but, they're pretty much random.... a clover here....a dandelion, there....

I keep a small vase on the windowsill over the kitchen sink. =]

I do plant flowers but wildflowers have always been my favorites:) I think it is harder to find fields of wildflowers now and I know a couple of places where the owners have planted some...it is lovely!
