a certain beauty

More fabulous fog, from earlier in the week. This is a field down the road from our house. It was planted in corn this summer, but now it lies fallow. And yes, I guess this is not a feel-good shot, but I just love these lonely, sad images. For me, they have a beauty all their own.

sleeping beauty:)
so much resting and preparing
going on deep down under.
Just dormant gorgeousness.
Something magical about that.

For more than just you. I feel they have a beauty all their own too.

Still can't get into it, Mary. I have everything out and I look at it, and I just. can. not.

What the hell.

Hello, dear Mary. I can certainly appreciate the melancholy beauty of this image. Winter and year's end instill quiet reflection. I hope that you find peaceful moments and much to look forward to and enjoy this season and into the New Year. xo – g
