i mourn

Yes, I am fickle. And inconstant. Yes, I longed for the cooler weather of fall, and now I can't help mourning the loss of summer... here is the last of the obedient plant, basking in the evening light of late summer. Happy autumn, dear bloggers.

I was just thinking the same thing! It is muggy here the last couple of days though and I am so over that! Gorgeous photo!

Time moves so quickly. One day we are sunburned and sweating and the next we are hugging the heating stove.

Great image.

I have to confess....I'm not too excited that winter is coming. sigh.

Your blog layout is really beautiful and fresh, Mary!

very exciting!!!

and, I've been lost in the Lightroom and, now, that I'm done with the 365, I don't have my camera in my hand, every day. This photo of the obedient plant reminds me to keep my eyes open and to keep grabbing my camera. =]

Love ya! =]

maybe that's why Autumn skies
seem so expansive
....because they somehow know
and stretch out wide
to hold all of the loss and leaving
alongside the crisp new beginnings
with their bright hopes.
Maybe Autumn is just wise
that way.
beautiful share.

Yes, I think we are all a little fickle, but I love autumn and wish it would last for so much longer.
