a bowl of cherries

I bought them to photograph, but oh how delicious they are. And I simply refuse to give in to the temptation to use that quotation... you know the one I mean... :)

I like the contrast of the scratchy cutting board with the beautiful polished bowl and cherries.

"Life is just a bowl of cherries..?" *smile* But..how perfect that would have been, because it is!
If there is a sweet cherry in life to photograph, you will find it and do it to perfection.

Above and beyond beautiful!

...I have always collected bowls and a good friend of mine painted a wall hanging for me with the saying..."Life is just a chair of bowlies"

heh, heh, heh! Here's my offering...Erma Bombeck wrote a book, "If Life is a Bowl of Cherries, why am I in the Pits?" She's so funny!

This is lovely, of course, Mary! The themed competition for this month is "from farm to table" at CiC. I need to get crackin' - how fun is that?

Cherries are so late this year, could be the horrible weather I think but I am so looking forward to them. And I will take a photo too!!
