l'heure bleue

The first snowdrop of the season -- yay! You have no idea how this warms my heart. And at sunset, no less. :)

Lovely! I like how much space you've given with just the snowdrop on the right. I've realized that I'm always trying to fill the frame.

Mary! Not only do you have a snowdrop, but, you have GREEN grass. Not a thing is living up here. As a matter of fact, it was 0 degrees, this morning. Isn't it chilly down there?

Katy, the green on the lower left is moss (forever green) and there are a few green blades... But I think the cross processing I did on this really accentuated the little green there was. :)

A - mazing! Lovely, lovely light, Mary. They are tricky to shoot, little snowdrops, aren't they? Sooo small. I'm afraid most of ours around here must have been decimated by the hail we've had the last few days. But I'll take a look tomorrow. Thank you for the inspiration! xo – g

I'm always amazed when you make a photo like this! I would have focused tightly on the snowdrop, but I simply love the way you have made it a small part of the overall photo! Gives a sense of place and time...
