i am like a book

"I am like a book, with pages that have stuck together for want of use: my mind needs unpacking and the truths stored within must be turned over from time to time, to be ready when occasion demands."

Lovely metaphor and image. The one of the books reminds me that sometimes our outsides are worn and old..but that we carry words of wisdom - still and always - within.

So beautiful, Mary. And, as always, perfect matching of words to your photos. Have a beautiful Sunday. The sun is out here!

Beautiful Mary. I love old books with the warn covers and tattered pages. They remind me of many an hour reading diligently. this is a beautiful image of a field, wide open. Carol

Gorgeous photographs! I especially like the warm oranges next to the green in the first photograph. And the stack of old books tied with a ribbon feels so homey, welcoming.
