What a beautiful mood is in this photo! Doughnuts and apple cider....oh, yeah... I forgot about those! I think that I missed a step, somewhere. Where was September? Doesn't this go with COOL weather?? BUT, no frost! =] VERY good for my baby garden.
btw,I'm trying to figure out how you capture the shadows and light in your photos like you do. I'm, also, learning how to not be afraid of color. Mary, I've been tempted to run screaming away from my camera. I found, however, that I've super glued it to my hand with commitment.
Also, Mary, I've tested the waters and broken the ice at CIC. They're open and non judgmental towards all kinds of photography. The beginners and the advanced are all mixed together. It's just got a much more straight forward approach than bloggyland. =] (i.e. they're not about sweetness and light - they have more of that straight forward "guy" approach.) They post photos to get each others' input OR enter them in the competitions. There's a monochromatic comp, monthly comp, there's one going for autumn, just general, etc. I'm enjoying the discussions on my level and reading about the ones (re: metering and WB on a level that I can just barely grasp.)
Post something!!! Pleeeeease! =] They're a titch stronger on the technical and there's a lot of male vision (blogland brings more heart and inspiration for me, personally) but "heart" is just as important to them as "technical".
Anyway, I thought that I should report what I've found and find that I've left a letter! Oops! =D
Im sure would love to join you in the fresh apple cider and and maybe one doughnut .As always soft light is what you captured.Stunning Mary. Happy October
This makes me think of some of the pictures I was taking after school today on my way home. Instead of a 3o minute drive, it took me 2 hours! This picture is so pretty and appealing to my eye. I really like it.
i really love this image. and hot apple cider. i was craving it the other night when i made a fire in the fireplace - the first of the season.... then it got hot again. come back autumn

Lovely photo! I am most looking forward to the first pot of chilli on a cool, crisp day. But doughnuts and apple cide sound pretty yummy too! :)

Gorgeous shot Mary. Now that the weather is cooler and there are signs of autumn, I really need to get outside and "play" with my camera.
