deep within

OK, I'm back to the queen anne's lace for the next few days... I'm hoping you will bear with me for another week or so. This compulsion comes from somewhere deep within.

And doesn't that sound silly?! :)

It's beautiful, Mary! I wonder how many "faces" of QAL there are.

I fell in love with Queen Anne's Lace this summer. How is that possible? It was here, in my environment everyday, everywhere. And one day it revealed itself to me as if it was brand, spanking new.

I spent many minutes here today gazing and admiring your work. And normally I don't care for music to pop up when I visit a blog but hearing Eva Cassidy was a nice treat. :)
Visited today via Shutter Sisters.

Gail, I shoot all my macros with the Nikkor 60mm 2.8. Check out Kate at Chronicles of a Country Girl to see her review of the 105mm.

No, not silly at all. When something captures your interest, you're listening to your inner gut. Oh, how intricate these flowers are.

I'm so glad you didn't stop posting these. This one is a masterpiece!

And I love my 60mm f/2.8 macro. It's my workhorse. But the 105 is a magnificent lens, too. I love them both. xo

I happen to love QAL as well. Find them fascinating, and even more so on photo.
Thanks to your blogg, I now know the name of a plant that is beginning to flower right now. It's the obedient plant.

I love your photos of the Queen Anne's Lace and never tire of seeing them. Your photos on In a Soft Light are just gorgeous and make me determined I need a macro.
