I thought I would take a little break from the QAL, and post physostegia or "obedient plant." These are a reliable late summer bloomer for me and (yippee) the deer don't eat them. :)

Also, I am really glad to know that the deer don't like them!
AND, thank you so super much for that link about lenses and aperture. I already had a good framework of understanding from my book; so, it was a great read!!!! It really filled in some gaps in my understanding - BIG gaps! It was just wonderfully helpful! I think you get the idea that I learned a lot.
