It's funny how something just grabs you, inspiration-wise, isn't it? I just can't seem to get away from these queen anne's lace... I think it's the internal architecture -- the series of umbelliferous struts -- that really fascinates me. They are such a common flower, but so very complex.
And I like that. :)

Please feel free to continue to observe them, Mary. I've told you before that I love it!
Beautiful.
Queen Anne's Lace is a wonderful model. She has so many faces to show the photographer. Your picture is stunning.
all of ours are gone now - victims of the heat.
beautiful shot
I have to say the same continue on and on.
Stunning my friend..Stunning.
very beautiful....and you're not the only one...i have seen so many fantastic shots of this flower....off to get my own :)
I think it's the delicacy of the flower that always intrigues me. Beautiful - as always!
Yep, I totally get your fascination. Pretty impressive for a so-called weed!
Love your photos and the flowers, but have to say that Queen Anne's Lace at this stage tends to grab onto the dog every time he goes by, and it's a real challenge to get out of his fur ;o)
Your flower observations are amazing.

There is so much movement in this foto, have to smile still our darlingweed ;-)
I said to my husband that everyone is photographing Queen Anne's Lace. He said, "Oh, is it that pretty?" Seen from the car window it is just a mass of white, but up close, oh, you have captured it here!
