i can fly in my dreams

Another assignment for Creativity Boot Camp. The word prompt was "fly," and the obvious birds were not cooperating, so I thought of figurative flying and came up with this still life. I live a small, quiet life, but I can fly when I enter the pages of a good book. And I found this quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson which I love:

There are no days in life so memorable as those which vibrate to some stroke of the imagination."

So beautiful, Mary, and such a creative interpretation of the word "fly". Shooting peonies this morning and thought of you! Have a lovely weekend. xo – g

Beautiful interpretation. I started CBC late and am on Day 5 now. I am so enjoying it. I think today's prompt for me is fluid. Right now that means coffee!

I totally agree with you. A good book can take you to places that you've never dreamed of before that moment. Love this post.
