Life is Good

Big, beautiful and blowsy, peony buds are promise incarnate. We wait, day after day, as they tease us with their slow unfurling. And then one morning, we wake to the petals shaking out like a ball gown of crinkled silk, scent filling the air. And life is good.

Amazing photo. You continue to be an inspiration with your gorgeous works of art. I dearly love peony's but we can't grow them here. You are so lucky to be able to grow them.
