Blue Skies in Winter

I finally got a nice day warm enough to take the new camera out for a spin. Well, it was in the twenties but I guess maybe I'm getting acclimated. A lot of the paths at my favorite park were covered with ice, but I was able to get a few images.

And oh, the blue sky was marvelous!

How BEAUTIFUL ;-)
Without the snow on the ground, I could be looking at my own skies while walking through a nearby park. Of course at 20 degrees, I wouldn't be walking ANYWHERE ... seriously!
Hugs and blessings,

The temperatures here have moderated, but there is still a bitter wind, so we have not been walking as far as usual. Winter does that, I am afraid. I am looking forward to the blue skies, though, after a snowstorm that lasted about 5 days, off and on!

One of my favorite kind of winter days - blue sky, snow and TREES! Lovely!

A beautiful photo. Lately it seems like the earth and sky have blended together into a haze of white and gray. It's always comforting to see a bright blue sky in winter.
