Snow

"The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?"
J.B. Priestly

No, we didn't actually get snow yesterday. But wow, did we ever get rain! Sleet and freezing rain.

Lots of it.

Where's my white Christmas?

No freezing here. Just lots of rain, so that's ok. Love your beautiful scene, Mary. The accompanying quote is perfect, too. I love waking up to snow!

Mary, I know what you mean about craving pink, or any other colour! And we still have months of this!!!
I love this snowy tree! Just a little snow, to make it magical. And we still have a week and a half for you to get snow before Christmas. If you don't get some of your own, I am perfectly willing to send you a couple of inches of ours!!

Excellent timing. We got our first snowfall last night. Not much, thank goodness, but just enough to pretty things up a bit. Love the quote.

Mary, I think that your white Christmas might be hiding over at our place. We just got our first snowfall, well not really a lot..... But enough to call it snow.

What a beautiful photo. And that quote, like always. Gorgeous.
