Well, I think we got about 12 inches, although it did blow quite a bit so some areas are higher than others. It is nice and fluffy, though, so not a big deal to shovel. It should be sticking around till Christmas, which will be nice. Although they are predicting showers for Christmas day, which might be a little messy. :(
This was taken on our front lawn late yesterday afternoon. I'm thinking I like shadows almost as much as I like fog. :)

And love that vintage light. The sun came out and packed some of the snow down with the warmth, then overnight it froze. It's pretty hard now. Wish we had the driveway plowed. I'd like to get out into the world at some point! Have a good day, my friend. My son comes home tomorrow night!
Beautiful!! I love the long shadows cast by the trees. I wish I was there.
I spent a long time, admiring these shadows!!!

Love the light and shadows Mary! We didn't get any of the snow that you did ... not that I'm complaining! :) You have a beautiful front yard too!

Oh my, how exquisite! I hope it does stay so you have a white Christmas. We're too warm now but I'm happy not to drive around in snow. Have a joyful and festive week!!! Merry Christmas!! – g ♥
