Morning at the Great Swamp

Just some more fun with Florabella actions. What did I do before I had Photoshop? I honestly can't remember. lol

I finally got to visit the Great Swamp photo exhibit where three of my photos hang. I am in awe -- there is some really wonderful work here. This is my first experience exhibiting my photos, and I have learned a lot just from seeing how others frame and present their work. Next year, definitely larger images and better mattes. I'm a little cheap, and I left the framing till the last minute, so I ended up using some frames I found at HomeGoods, with some blah mattes. Next year I spring for the custom mattes. :)

Definitely spring for them, Mary. Another beautiful option, however a little more costly are the 'standouts' available at mpix.com. Something that is mounted in this unique manner could bring more sales perhaps?
And this is Florabella's vintage summer, is it not?

Congrats on the photo exhibit, Mary! I'm glad you finally got to see it.

Ah yes ... Photoshop. The hours and hours I spend on it!! No wonder I never get anything else done. :) I'm really, really hoping that Santa will bring me Florabella actions for Christmas ... they look so amazing!

Glad I found your photo blog ... it's beautiful!

Lynda

Congrats! this image is so emotive...or maybe I am hormonal...either way...I love it.

BTW...some of the very best displays I have seen employed inexpensive "clip" frames....your work is capable of standing on it's own...smiles.
