I started playing around with this photo for Kacey's monthly photo contest then I forgot all about it and missed the deadline. So here is my attempt at the subject -- "Purple." Now I have to see what this month's subject is, and actually remember to enter. :)

Your photos like this are really starting to grow on me! At first, I did not like the changes in texture so much, thinking I preferred staright photos, but the more of these you post, the more I like them!
