Peony Envy

I've been spending a lot of time on portraits lately, and not too much time on my usual nature shots. So here is a peony from my archives. I promise I'll get back to my usual routine soon. But tell you a little secret? I'm having so much fun learning to take portraits. :)

Have a wonderful weekend, dear bloggers!

Sue, I'm sorry but I didn't get the name. I think it may be a tree peony, if that helps at all... :)

Georgeous photo!...and your post title reminded me that I discovered a peony nursery and display garden in NJ that I wanted to visit but didn't get a chance to....and its name is Peony's Envy Flower Farm!...maybe you have been lucky enough to visit them. I'm going to try to visit next year when the flowers are blooming...
