my mother has a pear tree and an apple tree in her back yard. And squirrels! They will eat the apples and just leave the core on the railing for you to throw away!

Marcie, I posted a few over on Little Red House today. I neglected to get permission from my subject last week ( a young girl) and I don't want to post without it. :)
I also saw the image of ants transporting the pears (you know like in documentaries about ants in rain forests) like Caroline. Perhaps they have a supply room under the porch. No, I don't know.
It was the bear that deposited them on your porch!! I start a photography course on the 22nd of sept. I can hardly wait for that!! Sounds like you are having fun with yours.
