I stopped by the local Audubon nature preserve earlier in the week, and they had some sweet peas growing next to the information center. There must have been half a dozen moths (butterflies?) flitting from flower to flower. I wonder what they thought of the crazy lady following them around with a camera? ;)

I just adore sweet peas. When clustered together in a bouqet they seem like perfection to me. And the scent - ah . . . that brings back memories of my mother.
Thanks for the memories! Have a lovely weekend.
I love the sweet peas as well. I am one of those ladies with the camera as well. I have tried to get the hummingbirds in the bee balm all week!
Love it! what a great shot!
I love sweetpeas. They're so pretty to look at and have such a lovely scent.
I don't know my insects, but you captured that one beautifully.
Such extraordinary detail and color. Beautiful!!!
Speaking of what they make of you, it looks like s/he is looking you right in the eye!
Beautiful shot!
so beautiful
Do moths think such thoughts? No, I do not think they do. I'm sure they don't mind having their photo taken either!
This is a type of Skipper. LOL, at least your were in a nature preserve. Last Saturday, I was running around an overgrown grave yard shooting skippers.
