It's really queen anne's lace, but from this angle doesn't it sort of look like a snowflake? And just let me say that even these 90 degree days are not making me nostalgic for winter. lol
when i was young i believed that you could not touch queen anne's lace. that it would give you a rash. i still don't touch it and i have no idea if it's even true.
Looking through your lens is like seeing a whole different (beautiful)world! I also enjoyed the bud, the mushroom, and the not-so-brash Black Eyed Susan. Good Luck on your new ventures.
So gorgeous Mary! It does look like a snowflake! I love the green with it and the amazing detail of the little spider webs. Those are the littlest spiders that hang out in there :) Beautiful Image

Beautiful. Yep, they do look like snowflakes ... :)
As if you're lying on your back..watching snow flakes fall from the sky. Very creative Point-of-view!!!

Yes! 'Tis snowflakes, in Summer time. :-)
And I agree with you -- Even humidity doesn't make me long for the ice, snow, cold of Winter.
In fact, I was quite devastated last evening when we saw leaves turning, during our walk. -le sigh- No! Not yet! Please not yet! :-)
Aunt Amelia
yes, it does...beautiful macro
It certainly does. It would make a great winter texture for photoshop.
They do kind of look like snowflakes, or hoar frost on a window. Brrr....okay, back to warmer thoughts...
Fabulous macro shot!!
Now that you mention it, it does look like snow falling. I've seen so much Queen Ann's Lace this year, especially in Upstate New York.
