Out of the Ordinary

Oh goodness, I don't even know what to say about this, except that when you let go of your preconceived notions, and look at the ordinary from a completely different point of view, wonderful things appear. :)

I was just going to say, before I read your post below the pic, that I love the different points of view you take with your pictures. such a true statement about how different things become when we look from different perspectives.

Indeed! That's gorgeous.

And you snuck a little life lesson in there, even though you thought you were at a loss for words. Well done!

Exquisite detail. They are as beautiful from the back as they are from the front!!!

I do like this - it's an unusual point of view that works so well with the narrow depth of field and the point of focus you've chosen.

The colours are just great, swathed in green as would be seen by a child hiding low in long grass (or a worm!).

Nice :)

Mary...you stun me sometimes...no..actually a lot.
I have missed my visits...and it is so good to be back..and then..I see this and remember how many times I have sat wordless looking at my screen in wonder...
You lead us into a different world..into the soft light of a surreal world.

The thing I love most about your photography, beyond it always being fabulous to view, is your ability to make me see from a different angle, different perspective. And then I think about how that lesson should apply to me in all ways of life, looking for and understanding there can be many wonderful perspectives to see. Thank you for always sharing.
