Breaking Out

I've been breaking out lately -- doing some things that I'm not used to doing. Now before you get any strange ideas, let me tell you that for me, adding music to my blog is a major break-out!

(If you prefer silence, the playlist is at the bottom of the page. You can turn it off, or just turn off your volume.)

I've also been taking an online course in portrait photography, which is proving to be a little scary but loads of fun. It's almost like learning a new language. If I ever get a decent image, maybe I'll show you. In the meantime, I need to find some willing models. Anybody live in New Jersey? lol

Beatiful shot, Mary. I would love to know which online school you are attending.

I look forward to seeing some of your new images. If your past work is any indication, I'm sure they'll be outstanding.

Today's image is very pretty.

This picture is absolutely amazing!!! I love your work and envy your talent. Such a gift! (And hard work, I'm sure) I would love to be one-zillionith (is that a word) as good as you! Is the online school difficult? Do they have beginners courses?

Christina -- we would have SO much fun!!!

Maria & Journey -- the online course is being given by a friend who is a professional portrait photographer specializing in children and families. She is currently developing the course, so I'm sort of a guinea pig... But I'm having so much fun, and I'll certainly post more about the course and announce when it is open to the public. :)
