I bought two small climbing roses at the supermarket the other day. Great sale -- $3.99 each. I haven't gotten around to planting them yet; they'll go in pots on the deck. But I did manage to take a few macros. ;)
And play around with some textures. Happy Saturday, dear bloggers!

beautiful color! and at that price a real steal.
What a bargain! And we get to enjoy them too. Have a wonderful weekend, Mary.
I'm so fond of using texture with flowers. Very nice.
Lovely roses. They look great with the texture.
Appears that the roses are crying. Simply divine!

Simply stunning....looks like an oil painting
Love how you've used textures to create a painterly effect. Beautiful roses!
So beautiful and old-fashioned looking.
