Gray Skies, Pink Flowers

I seem to be on a pink flower kick for the past few days... maybe it's all the gray skies. We did have some sun yesterday, but as night fell, the rain started again. This has been an incredibly rainy June in New Jersey -- average rainfall for June is 3.98 inches, while our actual rainfall to date is 6.44 inches.

And we've still got a week to go.

The pink is a nice way to brighten the day.

I think we are going to get double the average before Tuesday. The 10-day forecast is rain today, Friday, and Sunday. I hope it is correct because it will mean sunny skies for the long weekend.

Exquisite softness and detail. And - here too - we are getting never ending rain. Can't remember when the last time it was that we had a day of sun!!!

We have had the same kind of weather here in our alpine desert, making things a rare shade of green. It's lovely.

Welcome, Hildred and Charles, and thank you for your sweet comment! :)

I would be complaining about how hard it is to build an ark, by now, with that much rain! Either that, or checking to see if I was growing webs between my toes!
