Hyacinth Love

I wish you could smell it.  It smells amazing -- perfumes the entire first floor of our house.  It came from the supermarket, but this winter I swear I'm going to stick a few bulbs in the fridge so I can force them in January.

I love hyacinths.  :)

Hyacinths smell simply divine!! And I love the colours on this one, too! I agree with you, though, about forcing some bulbs in the winter!!

I can smell it - it is incredible! Every day I sneak over here for my daily fix of luscious flower heaven. And I so seldom say thank you.

But thank you. Even on those days when I just peek and run!

My husband got me one for Valentines and it is incredible the aroma these little blossoms project. I think you have inspired me to attempt some myself.

I love hyacinths too. Our city planted rows of purple hyacinth in the meridians at the stop lights. I can smell them, even through a closed window. Lovely.

I'm alway happy to see your photos.
Hyacinths are one of my favorite bulbs to force.

You've given me the idea to try forcing hyacinths next year, too. I used to do paperwhites, they were so easy, but they are also one of the few flowers that bother my nose, so I quit.

I too love hyacinths and their fragrance is intoxicating. I'm going to pick one up on my next trip to the city! It's settled
