Snowdrop Time

My snowdrops have finally opened.  Yay!  Will someone please remind me this fall to plant hundreds more of these?  I love them.  :)

Such beauty. I should just plant a few. I enjoy those of my neighbors.

You capture the bloom in such a unique way.

First signs of spring? Perfectly simple. Love this@

Beautiful "macro" (as I've learned to call them). The details are like seeing Mother Nature's
fine-stitch

I love the different perspectives you capture. Beautiful. I love snowdrops too. They're such an elegantly delicate flower, yet they're the first to poke their head up and brave the remains of winter's air.

That beautiful snowdrop picture leads me to tell you that the best time to plant snowdrops is while they are "in the green" - in other words, as soon as they finish flowering - that way you have a much better survival rate. Hope you can find some - in UK all the good nurseries sell them in that state.

Weaver,
We don't really see them in the green at our garden centers... :( Wish I could come over to the UK to see spring in all it's glory!

These are one of my favorite early spring flowers. Love the softness and "new baby" feeling I get when I look at your photograph.
Happy Spring!
