More fun with textures here. I've been making up spring photo notecards to add to my etsy site, and adding textures to a lot of photos from my archives, but haven't gotten out to take too many new shots. Oh well, I guess I'll get out there sooner or later. In the meantime, I'm having fun with textures. :)

You are Spectacular Mary!!!I am just loving all of it,
Love the painterly effect you're creating. Where are you getting your textures from (if you don't mind my asking??)
Haven't I seen this in a museum somewhere?? It has that kind of a feeling to it!
It does remind me of a copy of a painting I had one time. Very beautiful.
They look like renaissance paintings. Very moody.
this really looks like a painting. wonderful!!
really cool. i want to try this textures thing! with no camera right now, i really have no excuse not to play with photoshop.
just gorgeous
I am really into textures. But my textures are usually out in the garden. I love the lines and veins in the leaves. The shadow on petals. I love your photos.

That's a very lovely "painterly" texture. It almost looks European or Renaissance to me, but I as an art history major, so I say that a lot! :-)
Wonderful idea, to add notecards to your site. Love this painting you have here. Well, it looks like a beautiful painting.
Golly....this looks similar to those wonderful old paintings on Antiques Roadshow that end up being worth thousands of dollars.
Wow, great result.
