In My Mind's Eye

Just playing around with textures again.  I did some color editing in iphoto, then applied this texture by Skeletal Mess, at flickr.  And waiting, not so patiently, for spring to usher us out of this wasteland.

OK, so maybe that's a little dramatic, but you know what I mean.  Right?

Dramatic? Maybe, but it tells us a great deal about what you are feeling...and that is the most sincere kind of sharing. Good morning, Mary. And I mean that sincerely!

I didn't preview that comment and had to laugh when I read it. I almost want to break out in that song "Sincerely" ~grin~ but I really do wish you a wonderful morning as well as a wonderful day.

It IS very dramatic and I do know what you mean. We have beautiful clear skies today and then we're going to be getting some arctic air for the next few days...brrr....

this photo is peaceful.
I was thinking just this morning, "I don't think there is another season that we so eagerly await"
here in the south we are getting a really nice dose of spring weather. i'm so excited.

i love what you are doing with textures and this one really communicates the feeling of waiting.

I think the color is perfect for the longing your notes express (but it doesn't diminish the beauty of the subject). I could imagine that color on a distant barren world (which a lingering winter can feel like, at times!)

Have a nice weekend.

Gorgeous! I think your area must have a standing order an atmosphere of fog and mist.
