"Now thou dost dismiss thy servant, O Lord, according to thy word in peace..."
Something about this photo just reminded me of the traditional evening prayers said in Roman Catholic monasteries around the world. It's always a time for reflection when the sun sets, isn't it? Wishing you peaceful reflections this evening, dear bloggers. :)

Enjoy the weekend.
a gorgeous sky - I wish I had a lovely view instead of this gray day that developed here.
The colours in your sky feel rich and ancient - and fit well with old tradition
beautiful - what a great shot . . . don't you wish scenes like this could last longer than minutes outside of a picture?
Wonderful pictures. Thank you.
It isn't often you see such lovely sunsets of yellows and blues. Thanks for posting.

Gorgeous!!!
I've never heard that 'quote', but I do like it. Have a great weekend.
What a stirring way to present your SWF post - with the old "Church Latin." I wasn't Catholic, but I did study Latin in high school for four years; there's just something about it, especially in a clerical setting. I love Gregorian chants. Beautifully done!
Lovely photo. I am an Episcopalian now ... Catholic Lite ... 1/3 less guilt : )
Wonderful picture! Very nice sky color.
Have a nice weekend!
