Skywatch Friday: Katie's Sunset

If you look closely at the bottom left corner of the photo, you will see the almost ghostly image of my daughter's face.  She just happened to walk into frame when I was shooting.  She would kill me if she knew I was posting her picture, however faint.  Ah, the joy of living with teenagers...

Take a virtual tour of skies from all over the world; visit Skywatch Friday.

i know what you mean about posting photos of your daughter though - mine is horrified if i post one of her without her approval and i've done it before. oh well.

Wonderful picture, and I think that your daughter's touch made even more special (but we won't tell her that :-))

Your daughters deportment is wonderful and she is beautiful.
One can hear her saying. To be, or, not to be?, that is the question.
Lovely picture, thanks for sharing.

I'm so glad you risked her teenage disapporval (not a small thing I know) to point that out. It's the perfect touch for this photo - a happy accident - her upturned face looks like it's reflecting moonlight that's just outside the frame! Lovely!

I wouldn't have noticed it, but thanks for pointing that out. It's going to be our secret, she wont find out that you posted her beautiful face here.

Lovely shot, btw.

Your daughter's image adds a nice touch to a beautiful sunset. Someday, when she's no longer a teenager, she'll be proud to have been a part of your post!

You could have just told everyone you didn't know who that was and pretend maybe it was a spirit. LOL great shot. The blues and pinks are beautiful.

Mary: The beauty of this photo is so wonderful. You have made a really neat capture. She must not read your blog or you would get caught.

The pinks and blues make for such a lovely sky!

Your daughter's image is almost ghostly. I might have missed her if you hadn't pointed her out.

What a gorgeous shot!
Ah, teenagers {says the Mom of a 17 yr old boy, through gritted teeth, lol}...are they all the same? My beautiful kid won't let me take pics of him, as they may not be deemed 'cool' enough for viewing by the general public, so therefore, said pics are non-existent.

She's a beautiful girl, btw!

Ahhh teenagers, a delightful but quickly passing time of life, just like some of the fantastic sky photos you share with us.

Thanks for your kind comments on my post earlier and Happy Sky Watch Friday.
