Just For Fun

After seeing an absolutely beautiful photo with texture on Char's blog, I decided that it was time for me to learn how to add texture to my photos.  So here is one of my first attempts. (For another attempt, check out today's post on simple things.)  I think I need to work on it a little more.  But it's much easier than I thought it would be, and I can tell that I'm going to have fun experimenting with it.

I learned how to do it here.  Char, thanks so much for being so inspiring -- your photos and your writing are amazing!

Oh. My. Gosh. I love this. I don't know Char. Must go there now. Mary, you are inspiring. And just as Char inspires you, well what comes around, you know. Have a restful day.

Hey, for some reason I was thinking of you when I woke up. I was thinking of painting. And started to wonder how your wallpaper removal had gone?

The first thing I though was, "this a nice textural photo". Nice!

I like the way the background makes me want to touch it to see if it feels like hand made paper...

Thanks for the tip about textures. It's so much fun. I've been playing around on Picnik and added some words too. Same idea as Photoshop just fading the texture over a photo. (and its free) Love your work.
