Forgotten

Doesn't this look like some forgotten landscape?  Yes, I've been playing with those textures again.  I promise not to go nuts, but I couldn't help posting just one more...  :)

Your picture has a Wuthering Heights feel to it, very nice.

That looks so forlorn and melancholy, yet beautiful. *shiver*

Melancholy. I think Carolynn has this one pegged. I'm enjoying seeing your texture shots.

Thank you, Mary! I can see my camera and I will be taking a few field trips to find interesting textures to add to my photos. ;-)

what did you use for the "texture" photo--for the additional layer?

Sharilyn,
I used a texture that I found on www.deviantart.com.
I think it was called "vintage moss," but I'm not sure. There are a lot of free textures to be had on flickr, too.

Both this and the previous one have the look of being printed on a heavy hand-made 'rag' paper

Beautiful composition and scene.
