Sweet

"Therefore all seasons shall be sweet to thee,
Whether the summer clothe the general earth
With greenness, or the redbreast sit and sing
Betwixt the tufts of snow on the bare branch
Of mossy apple tree."
                                                              Samuel Taylor Coleridge

OK, so it's not precisely an apple tree, but the moss just speaks to me.  I love it.  :)

I like this composition. How many people walk by a wall like this and never see the art?

We have no moss left here at all. Nice to see a little green.

It speaks to me, too - wonderful shot. My lawn guy asked me last summer if I wanted him to get rid of the moss (with chemicals, can you believe it?!) in between the sidewalk stones. I just about shrieked, NO! My town has since banned cosmetic lawn and garden spraying, thank goodness.

I like the softness of moss, too. I think it's interesting when it's dried up as well, but when it's green like this, it speaks to me, too!!
