River

"I was born upon thy bank, river,
My blood flows in thy stream,
And thou meanderest forever
At the bottom of my dream."
                                                              Henry David Thoreau

This reminded me of one of my favorite campfire songs from my Brownie/Girl Scout days - do you know "Peace of the River"? It's an old tune written in the erly 40s by Glendora Gosling and Viola Wood.
Beautiful serene photo!
