Gathered

Do you pick things up when you take a walk?  I'm always gathering flowers, or nuts, or leaves.  Sometimes I feel like a child, with grubby hands full of treasure.  These leaves were a little too cold to carry, though, edged as they were with frost.

Yes, I do pick things up as I walk. I think this photo is beautiful with its frosty fringes.

i love that you asked this question and am delighted to know i am not the only one who does so... from childhood to today, i am always "collecting" and, at the end of the day, must empty my pockets of the day's treasures--stones, leaves, feathers, shells, anything that catches my eye along the way. i love to discover that i am truly not alone in this habit of discovery... (the difficult thing is getting rid of any of it when it's time to clean!)

Very pretty... they look like they are lit up by a little blue light from underneath... special effects! Very nice. =)

Yes I do and when I get home I wonder what I'm going to do with them. :-)

I love the frost edges. They look so much more delicate. Great shot.
